Thank you Jeff! I just sent an email to all buyers…please look for that as it contains all the info about the bonus.
Hey Herc,
I am having trouble finding any domains that are still indexed. You mentioned in your video that we would have to do some research to figure out how easy it would be to restore the site/ if it is worth pursuing.
1. Do you have any tips on how to do that? Could you include this in your Bonus PBN training video? Thanks!
I have found one that was last active in 2001. I checked wayback and it has since not been used for anything at all. I am assuming Google de-indexed it because it has not been hosted for so long.
2. Would an extended period of time, like 20 years of inactive hosting for a domain, have a negative impact on the quality of that domain to be used as PBN.
3. Does google find it suspicious that it is all of a sudden active and building links?
For the domains I have found that are still indexed, none of them show on the 1st or 2nd page when searching the exact URL…
4. Would this be considered an automatic pass for you? Even if the anchor profile is clean and wayback does not show anything suspicious?
Types of TLDs
5. Would you recommend only acquiring .com, .org, .net ?
6. What about .info and .biz ? Are there any other ones you would suggest?
Thanks!
Thoma

That’s covered in this section: 23:15 – Checking The HEALTH!
A simple series of tests to see if I can revive the PBN.
2. Would an extended period of time, like 20 years of inactive hosting for a domain, have a negative impact on the quality of that domain to be used as PBN.
If the links are still present, and the site re-indexes than no.
3. Does google find it suspicious that it is all of a sudden active and building links?
Old domains expire and get renewed EVERY DAY. If Google penalized domains for this, they’d slowly be de-indexing millions of sites.
4. For the domains I have found that are still indexed, none of them show on the 1st or 2nd page when searching the exact URL… Would this be considered an automatic pass for you? Even if the anchor profile is clean and wayback does not show anything suspicious?
It really depends on the quality of the links coming in and the uniqueness of the domain itself. Sometimes they won’t pass those health checks, but it could be that the url search has other properties that are more powerful.
This is one of those situations that you’ll get better at with experience and trial and error.
5. Would you recommend only acquiring .com, .org, .net ?
No. The only thing that matters here is the power of the links.
6. What about .info and .biz ? Are there any other ones you would suggest?
Same answer as above. You aren’t buying a domain, you are buying it’s links.
Hey Herc,
Thanks for your speedy reply.
I know you were saying the TLD extension doesn’t matter, and it’s more about the power.
Doesn’t relevance play a roll in the quality of the backlinks?
Does topical relevance and geographic relevance have the same level of importance?
There are a lot of high power .co.jp domains, and I can understand Japanese, So I can till if the content is suspicious. However I can’t imagine they would be as powerful links to my American money site as a .com domain… thoughts?
What about .ca or .com.au ?
Would love to hear your thoughts on geographical relevance based on TLD extensions!
Thanks mate!
Thoma
If I’m building links in North America, I try to at least find those types of domains.
Something else I wanted to ask is that I find some sites with decent power but they are targeting a specific brand name like “tommy-hilfiger-canada.ca”
What are your thoughts on these? Would you recommend avoiding them?
I moved on because they seem to narrowly focused and I don’t want to worry about legal/trademark issues.
Also, I have noticed a disclosure at the bottom of some SERPs that reads:
“In response to multiple complaints that we received under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, we have removed 3 results from this page. If you wish, you may read the DMCA complaints that caused the removals at LumenDatabase.org: Complaint, Complaint, Complaint.”
This also appeared when you searched “tvdvdplanet.com”
What is that message there for? My assumption is there may have been the removal of certain urls within the domain and that this may have been flagged to google because of copyright infringements or trademarks…
Thanks a bunch Herc!
Thoma
I would avoid those those types of sites like Tommy Hilfiger or brands that are not obviously owned by the real owner.
I just realized I didn’t hit the “complete order” button and I didn’t get that domain…DOH!
I’m not sure about those types of DMCA notices, but if the domain is healthy, it’s healthy.
Thanks Herc,
I looked further into the DMCA Notices. You can look at what the complaint was for.
I wouldn’t touch anything with a notice like that seeing as usually the actual brand has taken legal action against removing the sites and at times, filling lawsuits.
The site may still be indexed, but there may be surveillance for any new activity.
Hope that provides some insight.
Cheers,
T
If you follow the Privacy part of the PBN training when it comes out, that won’t be a problem. NO ONE will be able to actually see your site ;)
Herc – Help! Hope you come online before DFY Authority closes. I bought the FE product through someone else earlier, and after lunch, but before I could buy the upsell, I got yr email. After watching yr (vy good) sales video, I tried buying though yr link – primarily for yr great PBN bonus – but it shows Joshua Zamora (the vendor) as the affiliate – not you! Can you suggest something so I don’t buy the FE a second time & not get yr bonus? (Thnx) :)
OK. After trying several times, the check out page finally shows you as the affiliate. But now I can’t finf the $5 discount code. Arrgghhh! Anyone know what it is? (Thnx.) :)
dfya5off is the coupon Richard
Thnx, Herc. managed to find it last night. Already bought thru yr link. :)
Hi Herc, iv just purchased through your link, how do we get access to your training please when you do it?

Well I certainly hope I can help you turn things around :)
Hi Herc… I bought DFY. Do you have an ETA on when you’ll be starting the PBN training.
Hey To,, I appreciate your support! I’ll be shooting the training next week in either a webinar format, or multiple pre-recorded videos.
I think the challenge is not finding a healthy expired domain but, the time it takes to restore/rebuild. The time it would take to build say 10 quality PBNs is far more than buying links at Legiit which by the way you want, immediate result. It’s really a time proposition.
So, the question is what it really takes for an expired to be up and running. Can you get get away with posting duplicate content on PBNs? I guess No. So, you have to take into account time and cost of writing original content vs buying links at Legiit for your R&R properties. If you are ready or have time on your side to build PBN, it’s worth it.
Time is a factor in everything we do. But if we use our time wisely, we get the greatest benefit of it. In my training I’ll be covering how to get your PBN’s built out for you for $35 a piece which are restored from Way Back Machine :)
I’m still not sure if I want to build PBNs or purchase backlinks but what are your thoughts on using solid expired domains as the domains for our R&R sites? I bought an expired domain yesterday for pretty cheap. It only has a DA of 10 but it’s pretty healthy and has one of my keywords, no numbers or hyphens and I figured it would be better than starting with a DA of 1. I was thinking of using it for one of my R&Rs. Any cons to that approach?
Bethany, believe me that if you owned a PBN and saw how well they work you might change your mind. Think about this…I build 100% PBN links to my RR sites…why?
The only con to using a “HEALTHY” expired domain for your R&R site is it’s not an EMD which does get a boost. But it’s still 100% possible to just optimize for your keywords in title, desc & h1.
Does having an EMD outweigh existing links tho? Depends on the links :)
I should have clarified that I’m not sure if I want to build my own at this exact time vs purchasing PBN links on Legiit etc I am interested in learning how to build them eventually. Learning R&R and some digital marketing right now so trying not to put too much on my plate at once.
I did up buying a few that I’d like to use as PBNs at some point (bought the domain but no hosting yet). Watched the video on your PBNs module that talked about tying in the site’s original themes which was super helpful. I also found an incredible EMD on there. It’s for a big city I never would have thought to look at because of the population size. The keyword is searched ~400x a month but the competition is pretty bad. It made my day haha. Thanks Herc!!
Also, would you consider doing a demo/review of this software of theirs? https://zamuraiapproved.com/pbn-special/
Sorry if you said this and I missed it…but when looking at the PBN’s backlinks what spam scores are you comfortable with and what’s too high? And if a domain is mostly good, how hard is it to get one or two of its backlinks removed?
I don’t really look at spam scores unless they are ridiculously high. I think it’s pretty normal for a website to naturally pick up some spammy links so I don’t worry too much about it.
Good to know! What’s ridiculously high for you? Over 50%?
Hi Herc,
I dont see a buy button link?
Pls adv
Thank you
Hey Sam, it’s right under the video!
Hey Herc,
That domain choice made me laugh. Mark Steyn is a very witty English/Canadian*/US based political commentator with a very weird sense of humor.
https://youtu.be/D6j-qvO4GSk
* He says he is currently hiding in New Hampshire (near the border) after being exiled from Canada for being too politically incorrect. ;)
I think that domain was decent too, it probably would have reindexed.
looks good ,some of training i seen from old days
That’s actually funny…I’ve been doing things the same for a LONG time and it still works while others are trying all kinds of new tweaks and hacks. Fundamentals never change…
your right, i have been watching you back when you were with Becker
I’d say Alex Becker is the guy that help me achieve my breakthrough on Keyword Research!
